IMPROVING GRADES DURING THE FINAL YEAR OF STUDIES

Students in their final year of study can apply an application to improve their grade via my.itmo.ru in accordance with the current Regulations (clauses 6.46–6.49).

After retaking a course, make sure that the new grade has been entered in your gradebook. If you notice any issues with the grade being displayed, contact your lecturer as soon as possible.

In order to improve your grades, you must:

Step 1

Be in your final semester of study.

Step 2

Be eligible to receive a diploma with honors. It does not matter whether you want to improve a “good” or “satisfactory” grade. What matters is that improving your grades would make you eligible under the requirements for receiving a red diploma.

Step 3

Submit an application via my.itmo.ru, specifying up to three courses for which you plan to improve your grades. Applications for the 2026/2027 academic year will open in February 2027.

Step 4

Wait for your application to be processed and receive the lecturer’s contact details for retaking the courses.
