All international students and stateless citizens studying at ITMO within the quota set by the Russian government receive the government stipend throughout the entire period of their studies regardless of their grades.
GOVERNMENT STIPEND
In the 2026/2027 academic year, the basic government stipend amounts to 2,400 rubles

If you get “good” and “excellent” grades
If you get only “excellent” grades
If you are a first-year student (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
If you are a first-year Master’s student with an honors (red) diploma of previous education
Stipend payout periods
Stipends are allocated directly after the end of interim exam periods in winter and summer.
Stipend is transferred to the campus card on the 3rd-5th of each month. The exceptions are December and April in which payments occur on the 27th-29th.
