ENHANCED STIPEND COMPETITION

Stipend in support of accomplished ITMO students

The stipend is awarded to Bachelor’s students in years 1-4 and Master’s students in years 1-2 who meet the following criteria:

Student is eligible for government stipend

No subjects graded “satisfactory” at interim exams and no academic backlog

Student has academic, social, research, creative, or sports achievements

BASED ON THE RESULTS OF WINTER EXAMS

  • Wave 1

    For Bachelor’s students (years 1-4) and Master’s students (years 1-2)

    The dates of the competition will be announced later.

Applications are accepted via ISU: Your personal page / Образование и наука (Education and science) / Конкурс на повышенную академическую стипендию (Extended stipend competition).

Stipend payout periods

If you win the competition, your extended stipend will be paid over the following periods:

  • September 1 – January 31 – for newly enrolled Bachelor’s and Master’s students;

  • February 1 – June 30 – for Bachelor’s students in years 1-3, and Master’s students in 1st year;

  • July 1 – January 31 – for Bachelor’s students in years 1-3 and Master’s students in 1st year at the time of applying for the competition.

  • February 1 – May 30 – for Bachelor’s students in year 4th, and Master’s students in 2nd year;

  • June 1 – August 31 – for Bachelor's students of the 4th year and Master’s students in 2nd year, in the case of receiving a post-graduation vacation

The exact payout amount changes every month and depends on the overall number of applicants and winners. In summer 2025/2026, the stipend amounted to 7,118-37,287 rubles.

The scholarship is paid monthly on 3-5 days of the previous month. The exceptions are December (for December, the payment occurs on the 27-29 days of December) and April (for April, the payment occurs on the 27-29 days of April).
