In connection with the continuing threat of the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the imposition of compulsory vaccination upon enrollment in dormitories of the Interuniversity Campus in St. Petersburg, the admission of students at several Moscow universities to full-time education in September 2021 only upon presentation of a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 or a PCR test, the decision of the Council of Rectors of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast Universities to allow full-time students to study only with a certificate of vaccination against the novel coronavirus infection COVID-19, and other restrictive measures, there is a high probability of similar measures being introduced in St. Petersburg.
To prevent university students and staff from experiencing possible inconveniences associated with checking into the dormitories, extending residence contracts, being admitted to full-time education and work, and gaining entry to the university premises in the case of the introduction of compulsory vaccination in St. Petersburg, we recommend considering vaccination in advance.
According to ITMO University Rector's Order № 17 dated June 30, 2021, all employees and students of ITMO University are recommended to undergo vaccination (revaccination) against the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) on their own within the following period:
