Our club is all about polishing your skills of testing current computer vision models for specific tasks, such as real-life object localization (autonomous driving, driver asstistance systems, face recognition, etc.). In our club, we often hold discussions of current approaches in the field and demonstrations of our own model solutions. All of this takes care of both your hard and soft skills.
If you are interested in computer vision, object identification and classification, and you are a Master's/PhD student or in the senior years of your Bachelor's, you are welcome to join our team. Together, we'll learn to test our own creations in real-life conditions and to find the best solutions for improving our models. We will take part in forums and contests in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Innopolis, and many more.
Become a Ninja in Computer Vision.
We do event-volunteering. Not only in St. Petersburg. Join ITMO volunteers and take part in cultural events from university to international levels. You don't even know how much people need you!
We are assembling a team of ITMO University volunteers. The club has many connections with foundations, NGOs, and other volunteering organizations. Our fields of interests are event volunteering, blood donations, work with children, environmental volunteering, and others. What is your field? We regularly participate in cultural and entertainment events, as well as business events and charity events om various levels. Almost no major event of ITMO University is complete without our club's volunteers. First-years' days, graduations, scientific conferences - just to mention a few.
Anyone can join our friendly and become a part of the most high-profile cultural events. Participants are united by the desire to help other people.
For several years, at the beginning of the academic year, the club hosted a school of volunteers, where we equip our listeners with basic theoretical knowledge, hold workshops and business aimed at developing the skills that volunteers may need in practice. We will show you that volunteering is exciting. A great advantage of our training is that classes are conducted by both active coordinators of the People Need You club and specialists invited from other volunteer organizations.
We volunteer from the bottom of our hearts, and we need you!
The club of kind people who promote the ideas of morality and family and try to raise the spirits of other students. We help each other, create beautiful things and organize events promoting our ideas. We love doing good-quality things with our heart in them -- and we also love creativity and humor. Let's do it together!
This is a club of kind people who promote the ideas of morality, family, and also try to lighten up the moods of other students. ITMO.POKROV inherits the idea of the St. Petersburg Pokrov Association and cooperates with it. The club is open to any student or staff member of ITMO who shares the idea of the club -- the promotion of moral values and goodness. ITMO.POKROV participants are encouraged to have a socially active attitude, organizational talents, and a desire to organize social events. Club activities can be very diverse: from ballroom and folk dances to soulful gatherings over a cup of tea in a friendly atmosphere. ITMO is already fond of ITMO.POKROV promotions, such as the annual campaign A postcard to mom, various games, and events for Victory Day.
The social events club will teach you how to organize and conduct various events, perform in front of the public, introduce yourself, and promote your ideas. We cooperate with other university and intra-university communities that are part of the Pokrov movement, so we take part in events of different levels - from university-based to city-wide ones. Our members have great creative freedom and opportunities to express themselves creatively from different sides. The club regularly participates in creative competitions and other events of the Pokrov Association.
DevSect is a platform for student interaction, where you can share ideas and knowledge and find like-minded people in the fields of programming and development.
We think that fledgling developers can find it hard to do their job using only the knowledge they've received at university. IT keeps progressing and we constantly witness the coming of new technologies that programmers are required to know. Thanks to a more flexible approach to studying such new technologies and sharing their knowledge and experience, our members can get more career opportunities and contribute to the industry.
This is a club meant to help members improve their programming competencies through peer-to-peer learning and get additional experiences through participating in hackathons and developing group pet projects. Here, you will join interesting projects – we have experience in commercial development, as well as deep understanding of various programming fields. At the club, you will get to boost your CV and portfolio with all the team projects you'll develop.
Good day to you! Do you want to discover the beauty of the world around you, get strong and inspired? Then you've come to the right place! We have a cosy room, a warm lamp and two ITMO University psychologists -- the perfect combination for lamp-lit conversations on various topics, meditations and relaxation. Come visit us, it's cosy here.
Our club is for students, who are passionate about psychology and want to understand themselves and other people better. But we are also here for the curious - the Existential Soft Skills club is open to anyone!
We regularly host discussions on various topics – from confronting fears and motivating people to finding support in life, something to give us strength and confidence. The topics are limitless and you will definitely find something that will interest you. We also often organize morning and evening meditating sessions – come in if you want to relieve stress or recharge your batteries for a new day!
Two of our members are ITMO psychologists, who are specialists in their field and just generally wonderful people you can rely on. They teach you a wiser approach to life that will help you avoid unnecessary stress, find your own path. They will also support you on your way to learning about the world. We want to give each of our members (and guests) the tools to overcome life challenges that all of us face in this world. Our members, in turn, will use these tools to make their lives better, more pleasant and joyful.
We usually meet twice a week but we prioritize the convenience of our members and always take your busy schedules into account. You can find us in a unique place - the room of psychological relief. Our psychologists always notice how the tangles of human relations unravel after meetings, while the eyes of our members shine with confidence and happiness. It has been our inspiration for several years, giving us motivation to continue.
We have everything you need to get deep into robotics and technical cybernetics -- from Lego NXT to a Mitsubishi manipulator. And most importantly, we have experience. We will bring you to your victory at an international contest. The only condition is your own interest.
Such a community of robotics experts who constantly work with hardware should have been created long ago! But now we welcome you to a young club full of energy and ideas. Cyberiada is club that is highly in demand. First, it's a competitive area for robotics specialists of various levels. Second, we don't have enough practice at our classes to create actually intelligent robots. And third, it's high time ITMO started winning robotics and cyberphysics contests.
Cyberiada pays a lot of attention to contests. Why? Robotics and control systems are a very applicable field, so we need practical training. A professional contest is a way to add gamification to education and creativity, as well as a measurement tool for yourself and the university. Victories have a high price, so a sense of duty is highly valued among our members.
Join us to upgrade your skills, test yourself, and create a professional community around yourself. First, we will talk about the areas where control systems and computer vision can be applied, why we need differential equations, and what is spiral development. Then, you will join theory classes. If you are ready for more, we start joint practical classes. We have a personal approach, where elder members curate members with particular interests.
Do you love anime? So do we! Here, we will watch the new releases together, host lectures and discuss the news in a great company. Join us! You can also take part in our themed events.
Kotatsu is a club that brings together both experienced anime lovers and those only stepping upon this path. Even iа you know nothing about Japanese animation, we will happily show you the many brilliant works in the genre.
Apart from screenings, we also hold lectures, discuss new releases, and even play sometimes. Here, you can not only unwind in the company of friends but also learn something new and interesting. Our members write reviews, translate educational videos on YouTube, take part in the club's lectures and get ready to animу festivals and tournaments of St. Pete. In our lectures, we talk about the core topics of the industry - the process of creating anime series, the origin of ideas behind them, the link between studios and licensing companies, the places you can legally watch the series at, etc. But the main part of our activities is friendly communication and recreation. Join your fellow lovers of manga and ranobe!
