International students contest "ITMO.Network"

ITMO.Network contest is held among international students of ITMO and ITMO preparatory department to promote ITMO University through social networks and other available tools among the circle of active communication of the student in his/her home country.

Dates of the contest: February 28 - March 14, 2023.

International students of ITMO University are allowed to participate.

Contest format. As an application, a candidate's competitive essay in his/her native language or primary language of communication in social networks is submitted, taking into account the following components:

  • full name in the ISU system;
  • a contact email address to which the applicant has regular access;
  • a description of how the decision to choose the university and place of study in the candidate's home country is made and why the candidate chose ITMO University;
  • a description of the candidate's experience studying at ITMO;
  • a description of how the candidate would present ITMO on his or her social media accounts in order to interest his or her fellow citizens in studying;
  • links to the candidate's personal social media profiles.

Within 7 days after the end of the contest, the committee considers all submitted applications and, based on a collegial decision, determines the winners.

Winners and participants are notified of the results of the contest via e-mail specified in the essay.

The winners accept or reject the offer of a paid internship in the Office of International Educational Programs within 3 working days.

Duration of the internship is up to 6 months from the date of signing the contract, the salary is 11 500 rubles per month.
