Module description

Safety and Action Procedures in Emergency Is a course on how to prepare yourself and your loved ones for emergency situations that may happen to us in life: on the way to school or work, during rest, or sports.

From self-defense techniques to the design of unmanned aerial vehicles, from personal actions to group interaction in emergency situations, from working with maps to modern navigation devices, from stress resistance to first aid.

You will get acquainted with self-defense techniques, learn how to provide first aid in an emergency, cope with stress, control a drone, and work with maps.

The course is available to 4th-year students.

Learning format

Classes are held in a mixed format:

  • the Open Education platform contains video lectures and tests, as well as useful materials,
  • practical classes on several topics are held on site,
  • as well as interactive and informative content in the course’s VK page (in Russian).
Assessment format

Differentiated credit.

To get a pass (“satisfactory”), you need to score at least 60 points;
To get a “good”, you need to score at least 74 points;
To get an “excellent”, you need to score at least 90 points.
