Retaking courses/practical training

If after the interim exams of the fall semester 2025/2026 you have an academic backlog in no more than two courses, you can apply to retake one of them in the fall semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.

After your application for retaking a course is approved, the Student Services Office will ensure that you can take the course in full in the fall semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.

To retake a course, you have to submit an application in my.itmo.ru between March 2 and March 7.

Your application will be considered by the head of your educational program and the department responsible for the course.

If your application is approved, your schedule for the fall semester of the 2026/2027 academic year will include the course you will be retaking and a schedule of repeat interim exams indicating the exam date for the course.
